Every shoot is planned around three goals. Second, scale — orbital and overhead passes that reveal the full site plan, parking, amenity decks, and architectural massing. Third, lifestyle — low-altitude moves through pool areas, rooftop lounges, and exterior walkthrough sequences that put the viewer inside the property experience.

Deliverables are tailored to where you will actually use them. A typical aerial video package includes a long-form hero edit (60–90 seconds) for your website hero and capital markets deck, a 30-second cut for ILS placement, vertical 9:16 and square 1:1 cuts for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook, and a silent looping background clip for your website hero section. All deliverables ship color-graded, audio-mixed, and ready to publish.

We are FAA Part 107 certified, carry commercial general liability insurance, and coordinate airspace clearance for restricted areas (Class B/C/D, controlled towers, temporary flight restrictions). Standard turnaround is approximately two weeks from shoot date to final delivery, with rush options available for active lease-ups.

How long does an apartment community aerial video shoot take?
A typical shoot for a single multifamily property takes a half-day on site, plus a separate window for interior or amenity coverage if scoped. Larger garden-style communities or properties with restricted airspace may require additional planning time. We confirm a precise window after reviewing your site plan and location.
Do you need property approval or permits to fly a drone over our community?
We always coordinate with the property and obtain written authorization before flying. For airspace that is FAA-controlled (most major metros), we file the required LAANC authorization. Our pilots are Part 107 certified and carry commercial liability insurance — most property management compliance platforms (Compliance Depot, RMIS, NetVendor, Vendor Cafe) already have us approved.
What weather conditions can you shoot in?
We fly in clear-to-partly-cloudy conditions with winds below FAA recommended thresholds. We typically schedule a primary shoot date and a backup window in case of weather. For lease-up campaigns with hard deadlines we recommend booking 3–4 weeks in advance to allow for reschedules.
What is the turnaround from shoot day to final delivery?
Approximately two weeks for the full edit package: long-form hero edit, ILS cut, vertical and square social cuts, and a silent web loop. Rush turnaround (5–7 business days) is available for active lease-ups — let us know up front so we can plan capture and edit accordingly.
Can the video be used across our ILS listings and management company website?
Yes. We deliver final files in formats sized and compressed for the major ILS platforms, your property website hero, YouTube, Vimeo, and Meta paid media. You receive perpetual marketing use rights to all deliverables for the property covered in the engagement.
How does aerial video compare to a 3D virtual tour for remote leasing?
They are complementary, not competing. Aerial video sells the property at first impression — site, location, and lifestyle. A 3D virtual tour gives serious prospects a way to explore floor plans and unit interiors on their own time. Most lease-up campaigns benefit from both.
