The Full Story

A large build generates constant demands for visual proof: lenders want draw-inspection support, investors want progress updates, marketing wants a story to tell at delivery, and the project team wants a record when questions come up later. Site superintendents have better things to do than chase photos.

Our construction documentation program puts your project on a schedule, weekly, biweekly, or monthly flights depending on the pace of visible change. Every visit captures the same orbit points, altitudes, and cardinal views, GPS-referenced so week 40 aligns with week 4. That consistency is the entire value: photos that cut together into a time-lapse, updates that let a lender see exactly what changed, and a delivery-day archive that documents the whole story.

Each visit delivers a timestamped set of overhead and oblique stills, a short orbit video, and running access to the full project archive organized by date. At milestones (foundation pours, topping out, facade completion) we can add ground-level coverage and event documentation of the ceremony itself.

At delivery, the archive becomes a marketing asset: a start-to-finish time-lapse for the lease-up campaign, before-and-after sequences for the developer's portfolio and capital-markets materials, and a complete visual record that has settled more than one dispute about site conditions and sequencing.

Flights over active construction sites demand real credentials: FAA Part 107 certification, commercial liability insurance, airspace authorization near controlled airports, and coordination with site safety. We handle all of it, and we are already approved on the vendor-compliance platforms most GCs and developers require.

One subscription, one flight plan, a complete visual record of your build - from groundbreaking to lease-up.

Frequently Asked

How often should we schedule progress flights?
Match the pace of visible change: weekly during vertical construction and enclosure, biweekly during sitework and interiors, monthly for long-duration phases. Most projects shift cadence over the build. The program flexes with you.
How do you keep the imagery consistent between visits?
Every project gets a saved flight plan: GPS-referenced orbit points, altitudes, and cardinal views repeated on every visit. That is what makes week-over-week comparisons meaningful and lets the archive cut together into a smooth time-lapse.
Can the imagery support lender draw inspections?
Yes. Timestamped, consistently-framed aerial documentation is widely used to support draw requests and remote inspections. Many clients simply attach our monthly set to their draw package.
What do we receive after each flight?
A timestamped set of overhead and oblique stills, a short orbit video, and access to the running project archive organized by date. Milestone visits can add ground coverage, and the delivery package includes the full time-lapse edit.
Can you fly near an airport or in controlled airspace?
Usually yes. We file LAANC authorizations for controlled airspace and coordinate any additional waivers required. Airspace review happens before we quote, so there are no surprises mid-program.
Do you coordinate with our site safety requirements?
Yes. We work within your site's safety plan, check in with the superintendent on every visit, and carry the insurance and vendor-compliance approvals (Compliance Depot, RMIS, NetVendor, Vendor Cafe) most GCs and owners require.
